Housed in the original presentation box. The handle is richly decorated in gilt vermeil finish with raised relief and neoclassical styling. The decoration includes an oval medallion depicting cupid standing with his bow, topped by a finial of cupid's quiver of arrows and a flower crown, embellished with florals and foliage, the top and bottom fringed with indigo blue enamel.
