Domaine La Soufrandiere, Saint-Veran 'La Bonnode' Cuvée Ovoide, 2021 Sherry blending together Garnacha Blanca and'La Bonnode' is an east facing parcel in Saint Veran, set at the foot of the Roche de Vergisson (an imposing rocky, limestone peak overlooking Pouilly Fuisse). Cuve Ovode is, as the name suggests, a bottling fermented in concrete 'Ovode' egg. A delightfully fleshy white with a very generous palate of apple, pear drops, citrus, and fresh fennel.
