The Puffer Urchins are made from synthetic black fur with a built in foam core for added wind protection. These have a low profile that is approximately 35mm across from end to end. Puffer Urchins provide great protection for outdoor ENG interviews or other situations where the lav mics are exposed to more wind. These also have a unique blue "safety strap"
